Rainbow

This piece was inspired by an fellow artisan crafter - whose name i do not know - because i think they removed their deviation that inspired it. What they had was a chain with many pairs of colourful earrings displayed. I thought Wow! what a cool necklace! but upon further inspection i found that it was not a necklace, it was many earrings. So, I thought - wow! that would make a cool necklace! and went to my favorite bead store - BEADY I in Bronte Village Mall in Oakville. They have about a thousand little tiny shot glasses / small glass cups full of beads. They don't specialise in seed beads - they have a large assortment of 'singular' type beads. and they are all arranged in 'colour space' so i had a fun time picking one or two of each colour. The total cost of these beads was $12.

I also was like "hmm.... what can i display this on?" and while brainstorming of how i was gonna make a pseudo neck, i thought HEY! TEDDY BEARS HAVE NECKS!! and this is a whimsical design, lets display it on a stuffed animal neck! so how 'bout that. Cute huh? it's actually pinned at the back cuz this fuzzy dude has a pretty fat neck

so there ya have it.

IF YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE - WHO INSPIRED ME - where did that deviation go?! awwwie... id like to see it again.
